The main function of the Registration Team is to protect patient safety by ensuring overseas dental professionals who wish to work in the UK meet the necessary requirements. As a Registration Caseworker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that only dental professionals who meet our standards in education and training, health, good character, and English language proficiency are admitted to the GDC’s register.

In this interesting and varied role, you will analyse complex information on international qualifications, experience, health, and character, and conduct thorough investigations as needed. You will also prepare cases for external advisers, chair assessment panels, and maintain accurate records. The team provides assistance, advice, and support to applicants, stakeholders, and colleagues, while also handling technical correspondence.

Whilst you will be responsible for managing your own caseload, we have strong emphasis on teamwork. You will train and mentor new team members, participate in projects, and contribute to the team’s development.

About you:

We are looking for candidates with experience managing cases within a regulatory or similar environment. You will have excellent investigative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, coupled with effective communication skills with the ability to interact and empathise with a diverse range of individuals.

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 plus excellent benefits
